Jazzduo Klein-Doppscher

"Remarkable warm and intense sound [...]"

(C. C. Figueroa, singer, Spain)

The saxophon player Christopher Klein and the guitarist Benjamin Doppscher meet for an passionated musical journey through the history of Jazz and Bossa Nova.

The two musicans from Berlin present the "endless" variety of melodies from the Jazzzstandard repertoire: traditionell Rhythm & Blues, old fashion sound of the Swing Area ("Frank Sinatra", "Duke Ellington" or "Count Basie"), as well as compositions by Antonio Carlos Jobim ("Girl From Ipanema", "Desafinado", ...) and much more.

The Duo can be extended to a Trio or a quartett with double-Bass and drums or even a Jazz combo with a whole Brass and Rhytm section is possible.

Besides his main instrument the Tenor Saxophon, Christopher Klein also play Bass Clarinet and Flute. In combination with the Jazz guitar this gives the music a wide range of sound and atmosphere.
